XX/XX/21 - I would have to look at call logs for the other calls. However, for the past year this company has contacted me claiming I've " maliciously defrauded '' a company and need to pay them immediately. A prior rep of theirs did collect XXXX dollars from me and I have yet to receive any communication or documentation on the debt owed or who it's even owed to. They claim to be a " mediator '' and that I will be taken to court if I don't pay them. Again, I've asked for documentation and again, received none. They've also had reps claim to be process servers in the past. Today, they contacted my current employer, which I did not work at at the time of my alleged debt. I have in no way given them, or the alleged original creditor this information. They have continued for the past year to contact my ex-husbands extended family members both on their work and personal cell phones. Even after being told they don't know me. Today a rep told me my refusal to comply with her after I asked for their address and information, which is my right, that " this is why I'm in this situation ''. This is harassment, bullying, impersonating legal entities, continuing to call after being asked to stop. I will be sending a stop request via mail per the fair credit act and hopefully this stops.
