Today, XX/XX/2021, I received a statement via snail mail for a TD Convenience Checking account for the period XX/XX/2021 - XX/XX/2021. I did not open the account. I immediately called TD Bank XXXX to inform them of the fraud. I spoke with '' XXXX '' who said that he would speak with the fraud department and let them know. I asked him to email me a statement that I had reported the fraud, as proof that they are aware of the fraud and that I have reported it. He refused. I insisted that I need some proof that TD is aware that it is fraudulent, in case somebody tried to take out a loan or credit card in my name. He refused, then hung up on me.
