Collins Asset Group , LLC reported information to my credit file in XX/XX/XXXX with an account origination date of apparently XXXX. I have never entered into a contract agreement with Collins Asset Group , LLC. I contacted this company via phone for additional information as they claim I owed them {$4900.00} and request this be removed from my file as it's being reported without validation. They said they would send me proof. Nothing has been received. I have also emailed this company twice at the email on their website to get validation of this alleged debt on XX/XX/XXXX, and again on XX/XX/XXXX. No response. I've yet to receive documentation proving this account is mine. It is now XX/XX/XXXX. Per the Fair Credit Reporting Act, after a request for debt validation and no response from the collection organization within 30 days, any reporting on my credit file constitutes an illegal continuation of collection activity. Collins Asset Group , LLC is incapable of verifying the information of this alleged debt, so I can not verify this alleged account. I have given Collins Asset Group , LLC ample time to resolve this alleged debt. This account needs to be removed from my credit file. In addition to reporting this here to the CFPB, I will be reporting them to the Texas Attorney General 's office and seeking legal action if this is not resolved.
