We are refinancing our loan. The new lender, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, requested a payoff statement on XX/XX/XXXX, but the current mortgage company, XXXX XXXX XXXX PHH Mortgage Services, has delayed responding. Our mortgage is in good standing and I do not understand why there should be any delay in getting this payoff statement. Its practically impossible to get to speak to someone in person and when we do it is never the same person. No one seems to be moving this simple, straightforward request forward. Please help.
