I received two letters the same day from a company name TRS recovery services listed with their logo on the letter. This is the first time I have heard of this company and the first contact I have received. In the letter they are claiming I owe a debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX the principle amount stated in the letter is {$14.00}. Transaction date on the letter is XX/XX/2021 with a transaction number of XXXX. The company is claiming that the return reason is hold on funds in account. They are charging a {$25.00} returned item fee which makes the total amount {$39.00}. On one letter the reference number is XXXX on the second letter there is no reference number. I have contacted XXXX and they have informed me that I do not owe them anything, my bank has verified that no funds are on hold and none of my payments has been returned. It is to my knowledge that this company is making a false claim and committing a scam.
