Back in XXXX of 2021 My fianc and I went through the pre-approval process for a first mortgage. XXXX and XXXX came back normal on the credit pull, but my Equifax score came back fraudulent. I have a master card with XXXX XXXX XXXX that should be reporting to Equifax. I called customer service numerous times in XXXX, faxed the necessary documents ( Social security card, drivers license, pay stub, and bank statement showing my loan and social security number ) to Equifax twice. Each time I got a card in the mail sating I had no Credit History. We then spoke with the VP of lending at my bank. He told us the Bank was not reporting my credit info to Equifax. He did an emergency report on XX/XX/XXXX, which was blocked as fraudulent. Based on conversations he and I had with customer service it appears someone else is incorrectly reporting to my social security number and I have no credit history due to the inability of my card to report.
