Account should have been closed 4 years ago. The company has refused to resolve the matter. The account was said to be closed back then at the same time I closed XXXX upon finding out about the identity fraud on my account. I recently received an email that I am going to receive a replacement card for # XXXX that was said to be closed back then on or before XX/XX/XXXX. This is nonsense to me as I have at exhaustion disputed not only the technical issues ( not having access to the website ) and the fact that the account is connected to a phone number I lost access to years ago XXXX. I have documentation from then with XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX about this matter. I also put a freeze on my accounts with the FTC after my father passed away in XX/XX/2019 and they were demanding large payments that I paid that never touched the balance. Regardless of trying to communicate with them to have an arrangement ( payment plan ) they have ignored it. I've even spoke with members of the Capital One resolution, fraud and accounts team attempting to resolve this issue. I had updated my phone number everytime I spoke with them and somehow the account still reflects the XXXX number. I have also seen that more than one device is connected on the account and capital one ignores my need for resolution. Upon receiving an email again about another card being sent out for a closed out, I immediately called again and had the girl transfer me to fraud and I reported it to the man. She had told me the account was open but she put it as closed once again and that I was going to receive a letter in the mail confirming as such. The guy from the fraud department did not act at all sensitive to my concerns.
