XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX sent me a letter stating they have placed a Lien against my house. I have not received any notice company bought off the XXXX XXXX loan that was charged off my credit report. XX/XX/XXXX I hired a credit repair company that did not process my case and charged me fees upfront without negotiating my debt and several of my accounts went into default. Since XX/XX/XXXX, these accounts have been charged off. In XX/XX/XXXX I received such a letter and have not received any correspondence on how to fix the issue. My children have recently heard or seen a nucence lady come to the door and ask for me but has not stated what business she has or will not leave a number or name. I understand I have gone in default on several loans but do not know how to make it right. I'm currently trying to refinance but am afraid this company is trying to block me from refinancing and there will not be a way to make things right if they have not followed the law by presenting the issue and allow consumers to make it right. Since hiring the credit repair company I have done all in my power to maintain my finances in line and pay off my debt. I believe this company has not presented its case in law that is fair to me as the consumer and there should be a way to take action again them, scare tactics are not an appropriate approach to making things right financially.
