I received a debt collection notice dated XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX, Debt Collector, who is employed by the Professional Bureau of Collections of Maryland , Inc., on behalf of the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Texas XXXX regarding a debt of {$510.00} that I allegedly owe to the Sound Physicians. I do not owe this debt. I have been in a dispute with the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Texas XXXX since XXXX over medical debt they say I owe the XXXX XXXX for an inpatient hospital stay that occurred in XXXX of XXXX..I received a bill on XX/XX/XXXX from them for {$1700.00}. I disputed this charge and was told by my insurance company I was being illegally balance billed by the XXXX XXXX. I received a letter from my insurance company dated XX/XX/XXXX stating I owed only {$300.00}. I finally received a bill in the mail with a statement date of XX/XX/XXXX from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Texas XXXX for the correct amount owed. I paid the {$300.00} to the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Texas XXXX online by credit card on XX/XX/XXXX and I do not owe any debt to this company. I contacted the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX by phone about why my account was still in collections and spoke with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX confirmed I owed XXXX balance on my account and said they would investigate why my account was still in collections as well as put a hold on the account. Laws have been broken by the Professional Bureau of Collections of Maryland , Inc. and debt collector XXXX XXXX, This debt collection company/collector is in violation of the FDCPA and is unlawfully trying to collect money I do not owe. I never owed {$510.00} to the hospitalist group. The amount I did owe, {$300.00}, was paid in full on XX/XX/XXXX. I sent a debt validation letter dated XX/XX/XXXX to the Professional Bureau of Collections of Maryland, Inc.by certified mail ( received return receipt dated XX/XX/XXXX ) saying the debt was in dispute and to stop all communication with me and record that I disputed the debt. I also asked if the debt was forwarded or returned to another company they indicate it is disputed and if the debt has or will be reported to a credit bureau that it is reported as disputed as well. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a robocall on my voicemail from the Professional Bureau of Collections of Maryland , Inc. saying to contact them. Because I sent a debt validation letter within 30 days of receiving the debt collection notice this collector violated my rights by contacting me. I also have not received a letter from this company validating the debt they say I owe them.
