In XX/XX/2019, I reported to Ally Financial that one account had been fraudulently opened in my name on XX/XX/2019. Ally financial instructed me to complete an affidavit, file a police report, and inform all major credit agency that I had been a victim of identity theft. I completed all these steps and was assured by Ally Financial that the matter would be resolved, and that I did not owe money to the bank. However, I continue to receive threatening notices from Ally Financial that I owe them. Ally Financial is dragging their feet to look into my issue. They are in violation of Negligent Enablement of Identity Fraud Violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( including but not limited to Section 807-8 ) Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( including but not limited to Section 623-b )
