My card was charged for {$90.00} cents for a unrecognized vendor. I disputed the charge. Capital One reversed it but day later after a " investigation '' ( did nothing ) put the charge back on my account. Stating that " I PURCHASED MERCHANDISE. '' This in spite of that day being two other fraud charges that were caught and reversed. Gasoline station in XXXX I made a valid charge for gas. The attendant or coworker must have swiped the card in other portable terminals because from that time ( 2 ) other charges were attempted. There are signs at the gas station warning of this. In the blink of an eye, without approval, the card was swiped on different readers. One for {$230.00} for a gasoline station was flagged by Capital One 's system and declined. The third, a vendor I have absolutely no knowledge of. Capital one said that there is nowhere else I can go within the company to dispute their " determination '' that I was already talking to the right department. This same experience on multiple calls to resolve. Only once did they commit to a callback by executive offices - resolution department or some made up name. Nobody ever called. I call asking for similar departments then they require a NAME to transfer a call. Nobody uses first and last names. Is impossible to resolve within the company. They have denied my right to dispute and refuse to give the process ( as required by law ) or address to file a written complaint. I closed my account. One was caught by
