I have been disputing this debt since 2019. I have contacted the collections agency and as others debt was paid prior to it being sent or sold to their agency and that they should contact the leasing office to validate payment. XXXX XXXX refused and continued to informs me via by phone that the {$1000.00} debt was still owed. I have disputed this matter by mail email and online with return collections notices and false validated correspondence. This active collections has cost me job opportunities, missed work opportunities to relocate due to not being able to secure an apartment due to not only the collections being open and active but also showing an outstanding balance for rental. I have been denied for multiple apartments, townhomes and condos due to this erroneous report to both my credit profile and rental history. Ive also been forced to pay an influx of non refundable security deposits due to this reporting by XXXX XXXX. Ive lost reputations faced humiliation and judgment. The attached information you will see the most recent collections notice following numerous pages of false validation. Also attached is a letter from the initial debtor that the {$4300.00} was paid in full days before being sent to XXXX XXXX. Also fact, XXXX XXXX never provided me with a letter 5 days prior to reporting this erroneous information to my credit profile. Had they complied by law and sent me a 5 day notice I would have provided the inclosed proof that this matter was satisfied in full. XXXX XXXX is in full violation of my rights as a consumer under the law section 15 U.S. Code 1692e. Verbal communication XXXX XXXX has use many stall tactics and numerous threatening claims of legal action against me.
