Dear Credit Bureau, After checking your credit report, I am in question of the information reporting. suggests that I now or in past may have owed on an alleged debt not validated or proven, yet you never substantiated your reporting or claims from the original creditor or furnisher. Therefore, I demand that you dismiss all claims and delete any injurious reporting ( s ) versus me, particularly if currently reported item ( s ) are potentially deficient of the mandatory document evidence of physically verified factual proof. If you are unwilling or unable to do so as insisted because you can not collect on an unverified, untrue, invalid account for uncertified and noncompliant claim ( s ) and or debt ( s ). You can not force me to conduct any business interaction with you! Any such behavior will lead me to act accordingly, if any injurious alleged account reporting on my current consumer credit profile history that needs to be deleted and removed from reporting the delinquently and misleading account information. Please supply the following information in complete detail : Why you think I owe the debt, and to whom I owe it, including name, address of creditor for the debt, the account number, and the amount owed. Provide the name and address of the original creditor & account number, and the amount owed at the time it was transferred. Provide verification and documentation such as a contract claiming that I am required to pay the debt to the current creditor. Provide verification and documentation about why this is a debt that I am required to pay. The amount and age of the debt, specifically : A copy of the last billing statement sent to me by the original creditor. If there have been any additional interest, fees, or charges added since the last billing statement from the original creditor, provide an itemization showing the dates and amount of each added amount. In addition, explain how the added interest, fees or other charges are expressly authorized by the agreement creating the debt or are permitted by law. If you do not provide it, and do not explain why, I will understand that you are unable to confirm or document your claims. Regulatory Compliance : Is your firm aware of ( Complying with the Credit Bureau Settlement Agreement )? Does your firm utilize any type of ACDV ( Automated Credit Dispute Verification ) software or system? Does your firm outsource data entry for your collection process, please provide the legal name and address, of that data entry firm? Is your firm currently Metro 2 compliant in its credit bureau reporting procedures? As a requirement of the Credit Bureau and the CFPB debt validation requirement, please detail your firm 's process of verification and validation for each disputed credit item including name, title, and license number for the reviewing officer. Provide a signed notice of compliance with regulatory measures as required by both the CFPB and the Credit Bureau Settlement Agreement with a signature and validating the debt and including the name, title, and license number for the reviewing officer. The CFPB rep I spoke to said you have 15 days to produce all information. If you can not produce all documentation, a written NOTIFICATION that your firm can not comply with FDCPA withdrawing your claim to this alleged debt is insisted or I will hold you accountable with the Bureau of Consumers Frauds & Protection when failing to meet the requirements of the FDCPA and CFPB guidelines.
