Im a victim of identity theft, I have gone through all the proper channels and notified all the proper authorities regarding this. Bank accounts and auto loans have been taken out in my name without my knowledge or authorization. Credit cards applications have been submitted in my name resulting in numerous of hard inquiries on my credit reports. Ive tried disputing these issues with Equifax Ive sent letters and filed disputes online multiple times regarding the auto loan they keep reporting but they give little to no response all they say is verified then when I ask for information pertaining to their investigation that the law states Im entitled to I get completely ignored. They have not provided the correspondence of the people they spoke to during their so called investigation. Ive asked for the names and addresses and the phone numbers of the people they spoke to Ive asked for any documents pertaining to the auto loan, all I get is verified .On top of that issue multiple inquiries were done on equifax credit report Ive called and sent letters with the FTC reports I filed also the police report complaint number from the police report I did to dispute those inquiries and their response was inquiries are factual. If Im a victim of identity theft how are the inquiries fact. They are incompetent and dumber then a bag of rocks with a response like that, just recently more inquiries were done on my equifax credit report. I called the police again and did another FTC report and when I notified them they gave me the same response inquiries are fact. It was then that I made up my mind and just do what my attorney has been clamoring to do since they supposedly verified the auto loan. My attorney is getting the necessary paperwork to file a lawsuit against equifax in a court of competent jurisdiction. Im filing this complaint because I want the United States government and its citizens to know that equifax has shown its incompetence with that data breach they had and they are law breakers who have no respect for consumers of the United States and this is a company trusted with the data on millions of Americans.
