There was an Unauthorized inquiry from Barclays Bank furnished on my consumer report back in XXXX, XXXX. I informed both the consumer credit reporting agency and Barclays about the fact that my right to privacy as a consumer was being violated and that they were both in violation of the FCRA 15 U.S.C. 1681 et seq., for unlawfully reporting inaccurate information on my TransUnion consumer report from an Inquiry dated XXXX without my authorization or a permissible purpose. Barclays has sent me 2 letters stating that the inquiry would be removed within 30 days which has not happened the first letter dating back to XX/XX/XXXX and the latest XX/XX/XXXX. At this point Transunion is also in violation for willful noncompliance, in Fact, I have submitted multiple disputes via certified mail # XXXX and Transunion has failed on multiple occasions to remove the inaccurate information therefore they are in violation of 15 U.S. Code 1681n ( a ) any person who willfully fails to comply with any requirement imposed under this subchapter with respect to any consumer is liable to that consumer in an amount equal to the sum of 1. ( A ) Any actual damages sustained by the consumer as a result of the failure or damages of not less than {$100.00} and not mor than {$1000.00} ;
