IC Systems is reporting debts on my credit file that are not mine. Please note that this is not a refusal to pay, but I am asking for validation. Under the FDCPA, I have to right to request validation and I am requesting proof that I am the party you are asking to pay this debt and that there is some contractual obligation that is binging on me to pay this debt. I am NOT requesting verification but a request that validation is made. I ask that your offices provide me with competent evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay you. During this time, if your office continues to report invalidated information to any of the 3 major credit bureaus, this can constitute fraud under both federal and state laws. If you continue to report I will not hessite in bringing legal action against you for violation of the FDCPA and defamation of character. If IC Systems is able to provide proper documentation I will require 60 days to investigate this information and during such time all collection activity must cease. If you fail to respond within the 30 days, all references to this account must be deleted and removed from credit and copy of a deletion letter shall be sent to me immediately.
