I refinanced a loan from Roundpoint to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX bought out Roundpoint so, effectively, they are the same company/entity. The payoff quote was pulled on XX/XX/XXXX and that is what they based the loan on - the balance on XX/XX/XXXX was {$210000.00}. The loan was to close mid XXXX so I I made a payment to Roundpoint for XXXX in the amount of {$1400.00} that posted on XX/XX/XXXX - the day after the payoff quote was pulled. As such, that payment was never applied to the new loan nor refunded to me. Roundpoint owes me that XXXX payment back. In addition to the missing payment, they have added on {$1600.00} in interest to the loan amount. On XX/XX/XXXX, the balance on the Roundpoint account was {$210000.00}. Interest of {$1000.00} was added into the loan amount bringing the total to {$210000.00}. This amounts XXXX for XXXX days they will not provide the dates this interest is for? In addition to the interest included in the payoff amount of {$1000.00} XXXX as shown above ), there is additional interest of {$370.00} added at $ XXXX, bringing the loan total from {$210000.00} to {$210000.00}. This amounts to XXXX days - they will not provide the period/dates this is for. In addition to the interest included above XXXX {$1000.00} and {$370.00} XXXX, I am paying additional interest on the new loan at $ XXXX from XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX totaling {$290.00}. I've made numerous calls to Roundpoint to straighten this out and they have not been able to explain or provide a breakdown of the loan, transferring me to more people, disconnecting my calls, and having me contact XXXX, who has not responded to my queries prior to closing the loan nor the loan balance, the disbursements, or the escrow, etc that explains how they arrived at the loan amounts. In addition to the above, I was told by customer service that the loan amount paid to Roundpoint by XXXX XXXX was different than any amount listed above.
