In late XXXX XX/XX/2021, I was alerted to a negative remark on my credit files with the XXXX bureaus. I reviewed the reports and discovered that a company by the name of " Sunrise Credit Services '' had put a derogatory remarks that I owed them a debt. They are a debt collection agency. After much trouble, I was able to contact them over the phone to find out what the debt was about. This was on XX/XX/2021. They informed me that I had debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX ( which I do not recognize ). When I asked why they never contacted me before, the Sunrise representative informed me that they had been sending letters. When I inquired what address they have on file, it turned out to be an incorrect address!! I gave the representative the correct mailing address and email address to share with me the information about the debt and the process to dispute the same. They have not shared this information with me to this date XXXX almost 2 months XXXX, but now keep sending me " debt settlement '' plans via email. I am attaching this document with complaint as this is the only reference I have. The derogatory remark is still on my credit files and I need to get this resolved asap.
