according to my credit report, General Revenue Corporation ( GRC ) has stated on my credit report through the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, that I settled this debt for a lesser amount. That is not " TRUE ''. This company has engaged in deceptive practices. XXXX XXXX University told me what was due based on my student loan. The bill was paid. see attached. Now GRC wants to put on my credit report that I settled this debt for a lesser amount. GRC can not think that reporting misinformation about a consumer credit report, is with the Guide Lines of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Fair Credit Reporting Act, requires that all information must be accurate. It is my understanding from XXXX XXXX that they have tried to reach out to GRC but no reply. See Attached Lastly, GRC has failed to mention that I responded back to them within their 30-day time frame back in XXXX, letting them know that it was not a valid debt, that they had received. I never heard anything from them.
