This company bought an old debt from XXXX, changed the date to say XXXX, and then proceeded to add interest charges each month, increasing the balance and adversely affecting my credit scores. I contacted them about the the date that it was not the date that the debt occurred that it has been nearly 7 years and they said they can use the date they bought the account, sell it to a sister company and then buy it back and continue on with a new start date for as long as they wish and they are allowed to charge interest even though it went through court already the judge ordered no interest rates to be added to the debt because it was so old.
