On XX/XX/2021 I have discovered an adverse reporting on my bureau with experian for a collection with a bank I have not had a relationship with. I have a collection on my account for {$30000.00}. I have disputed the matter with the credit bureau. I have also called the bank directly to find out what this was about and what their procedure to remove the claim was. Centerstate bank was completely unwilling to share practices on how to go about stopping the claim, including sending a police report filed for identity fraud. I have made the point if this was a valid collection, why was a letter, not one, was ever sent to us. It's as if this debt appeared out of nowhere. I'm not 100 % sure why Centerstate bank does not help us out or why procedures to dispute this are not handled. We are ready to formally proceed with whatever need to be does to prove this debt is not mine. Centerstate bank mentioned this was a mortgage for XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, fl XXXX. A property we own and finance with XXXX XXXX XXXX. The mortgage ( balance around $ 58k ) is current and paid timely. This mortgage is also under my husband 's name, XXXX XXXX. Once again, how is there a mortgage for $ XXXX for a property that was never even under my name, with a bank we've never done business or signed a contract with? And once again, they are completely unwilling to work with us to fix this matter. The associate i've spoken spoken to at Centerstate bank was called XXXX in their winter park branch. She said she would 'call me back '. Her tone was telling that I would never get a call back from them. The phone number I dialed was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
