on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX I received my welcome call from Freedom Debt Relief. This was confirming they received all my information and welcoming me with their company. All has been going okay, I will put a little tid bit in that I was not behind in any of my bills I was just drowning with the monthly payments and going through them lowered that tremendously. Anyway at this point I put in Credit Cards and one was a loan through XXXX XXXX. and Freedom advised me not to make any more payments to the accounts I put on file due to they will not negotiate with them if the account is current. So, I stopped making my monthly payments and advised to my creditors that it will be handled through Freedom Debt relief. Most of all the credit card companies closed my accounts and I stopped receiving phone calls including XXXX XXXX. Well on XX/XX/2021 I sent an email to Freedom Debit Relief that I was receiving information from solicitors about a judgement against me? XX/XX/2021 I receive the paperwork from a law officer coming to door that a Judgment has been started between XXXX XXXX and myself. I automatically sent this over to Freedom Debit. I received it appears to be a general email that they would send it over to their legal team and I should receive POA paperwork for them to act on my behalf. I did in fact go to the courts on XX/XX/2021 and submitted a response to the courts that this is going through Freedom Debt Relief along with their address and phone number. Out of the blue I receive an email that with making consistent program deposits I qualify for a loan to pay off my credit with Freedom Debt through their sister company Consolation Plus, then I received a phone call. I advised that I did not want a loan. I was going through the program that Freedom had set up with me. okay, I will move forward I still had not received the POA paperwork they said I would receive until I questioned this. Finally on XX/XX/2021 after several emails and chats I received the POA paperwork I signed this information quickly and returned through DocuSign over the internet. Well now on XX/XX/2021 a Judgement is against me, they did nothing to help me in this situation. Now a bill that started at XXXX is now a Judgement for {$4000.00} against me. In which during a phone conversation one of the representatives said they were going to try and settle for XXXX XXXX Oh Yes they want me to pay them to make the payments. I refused, due to the fact I had been in contact with them since XXXX so this would not go to court. I really feel that Freedom Debt Relief Company is a scam with their fees that they charge you that this whole litigation should not have happened and that Freedom Debt Relief needs to pay any additional fees on this course of action. I know I owe the debt of XXXX but, not the XXXX. I am not sure if their is anything that can be done at this point I have a Judgement against me and I have to pay it, and really feel that Freedom should compensate for the additional fees. I do have the possibility of loosing my job, as to being in the procurement department and if a background check was completed I would be terminated.
