on XX/XX/2021. I applied for student debt consolidation from XXXX to Sofi. I was under the impression that I had XXXX days ( XX/XX/2021 ) to agree to the loan. Upon hearing that there may be talks to cancel student debt and refinance with XXXX instead, i asked Sofi to cancel my refinance. They told me " no '' that the deadline was XX/XX/2021. The loan documents that I received from Sofi repeatedly stated XX/XX/XXXX. When I contacted Sofi they told me i can ask XXXX to return the check and cancel the refinance. When I contacted XXXX, they told me they cant do anything. I feel like I was misled, any loan that I have applied for gives XXXX days for final approval. No one from Sofi reached out to me regarding the XXXX day deadline, while all the paperwork stated XX/XX/2021. I do not know how many other students are being misled. I would like my loan returned to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and cancel any consolidation with SoFi. Anyone reading this, keep your student loans with the XXXX XXXX XXXX and do not get misled by the private loan companies.
