Lending tree sent me an email after having pulled a hard check on my credit, without my permission, to offer a personal loan. Following the rabbit hole because I did need a loan, I was declined for a lack of revolving credit and a dismissed bankruptcy for 6 years ago, meaning I have never been bankrupt. They should never have made a hard pull on my credit without my permission, they should have never offered a loan based off my credit score that they never intended to follow through with. Their email bombardment offering me loans after I was declined is a slap in the face. They sent me a disclosure after pulling my credit report the first time without permission which I have a copy of and was sent days before I applied.
