I have a loan with Amerihome Mortgage Company with escrow for insurance and taxes. My insurance was expiring on XXXX XX/XX/2021 and the mortage company did not make the payment on time. After repeated follwups from the company i have not been able to trace the payment to the insurance company but the escrow statement shows that the amount was deducted from my account. I have since changed my insurance company to continue my coverage but the mortgager is still not able to track the payment. I have tried to reach them by phone as well as online messages but to no avail. I recieved a mail from the company about forcing me to buy a force place insurance at a exceptionally high cost. I dont understand if i am signed up for escrow account and they failed to make payment on time then how are they forcing me for force plan insurance. I feel at a loss for this poor management. I have since read about several complaints about the mortgagor in onilne forums about them being negligant towards escrow payment. I have also requested the mortagor to cancel my escrow account so that i can manage it going forward.
