I have two accounts that are incorrectly reporting on my Experian credit file. I have disputed them with Experian and they remain : XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) This debt was cancelled by XXXX XXXX. I have attached a copy of the 1099 showing " Cancellation of Debt ''. I can not pay on this debt. It must be removed from my credit file. I have disputed it with Experian and they did not remove it. XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ). This account was settled in full on XX/XX/XXXX according to the attached settlement options. I have disputed this with Experian and they have not removed the balance. The item stopped reporting on my file in 2020 ... so the balance at XXXX is already XXXX. Experian is just failing to update to this XXXX balance.
