I applied and received a capital one platinum secured card in XX/XX/XXXX. I paid a deposit to my credit limit and was told that after six months my card would go under review to be unsecured and the deposit money would either be returned to me or put towards paying the balance on the account. In XX/XX/XXXX I called to find out about getting it unsecured and was told that anyone with 100 % payment history was being reviewed to become unsecured and I would hear from someone soon, and never did. Now two years later I have had one smallCredit increase and can not get anyone to talk to me about why or why not my card can be graduated. Today I spoke with a senior account supervisor named XXXX who told me that the secured card Component does not take phone calls or talk to anyone. And she had no answers for me except for Im not sure and Im sorry. I also have a second card with the same company, that was offered to me unsecured, no interest for the first year and a much higher credit limit to start and I have had that card just a few months less than the other one.
