Consumer Narrative
Roundpoint mortgage, like all mortgage companies, is required to refund my overpayment to me within 20 days of closing. They took 34 days to write and mail my overpayment check and I still havent received it 6 weeks after closing. They say I need to wait for it to come in the mail still and that they had trouble getting them out in a timely manner because of some escrow review issues they were having in house - not involving my loan specifically because I dont have my taxes and insurance escrowed. They got all the checks out late last month which is unacceptable.
