Due to Covid19 my business took a decline and I was unable to make mortgage payments. I requested a forbarence and in XX/XX/2021 I was told by telephone to resume my payments and the balance I owed would be deferred. That was not true as I did as I was told =, made a payment and thsn recieved notice of forclosure. I called loan service company and requested another forbarence to figure out what was going on with my loan. Meanwhile, in XX/XX/2021 I did recieve a letter requesting I accept a derferment, I called to confirm the letter as my prior experience this was not true. When I called, I was told a modification would be a better option. I filled out the modification application which apparently cancels out the deferal request. XX/XX/XXXX I recieved notification that modification was denied and was offered options of short sale or deed in lieu of trust. My intention was to always keep my home. I am frustrated by the run around and misinformation, I was told repeatedly and only to recieve a response to leave my home.
