I searched for mortgage refinance online and came across Amerisave Mortgage, and was connected to Loan Originator XXXX XXXX. XXXX did my credit check and started the loan process, which would refinance my current mortgage at 2.5 % fixed APR for 30 years. I committed to Amerisave and gave them {$500.00} deposit, which was non refundable if I chose not to proceed with Amerisave. All this happened in XXXX, 2021. I sent them my pay-stubs, bank statements, tax filings and W-2s and house appraisal to proceed with the loan, I was prompt in responding to them them and getting them the info. Late XXXX, early XXXX I stated to contact XXXX I felt things were moving bit slow, after couple of attempts I get a phone cal, no response to e-mail telling me the loan was not locked, I can no longer get the 2.5 % rate. I lost out in a drastic way as there were other lenders offering me similar rate in XXXX. Then I was told to get 2.5 % it will cost me {$13000.00}. The initial cost that was mentioned to me in XX/XX/2021 was around {$800.00}.
