I requested to have my 21 federal student loans consolidated into one account. Navient is the new servicer and has not provided a correct accounting of the total amount due. I made a payment to the previous servicer that Navient charged me for as well as another fee that was not explained, I assume it is a processing charge. Finally there is a credit amount that does not equate to anything and has no explanation. I have requested on multiple times and even provided them with the account details provided to me by the previous servicer. However, Navient seems unable to explain these figures to me. How can they be a financial services company and provide no explanation of the financial accounting of their products?
