Experian refuses to update my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX account. It is showing as open instead of closed. It is also showing a balance instead of being XXXX. I have disputed the inaccurate information several times with Experian but they keep closing it and stating the information is inaccurate. The inaccurate information started showing in my account XX/XX/2021 and I have been trying since then to get it disputed. I even took a day off to drive to XXXX XXXX, MI to the branch of XXXX XXXX XXXX. We tried to get the information fixed at that time and were unable to. XXXX XXXX XXXX states that Experian is reporting inaccurate information and they ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) are not receiving the request to confirm the information. Experian is the only credit reporting agency still reporting this inaccurate information. XXXX XXXX XXXX has tried to call and email Experian to update the inaccurate but they have not being successful. Experian refuses to fix anything via email or over the phone and they are maintaining that XXXX XXXX XXXX has to fix the information through the electronic request that is being sent by Experian but the issue is that XXXX XXXX XXXX is not set up to receive that type of request from Experian. Experian has been extremely unhelpful with this request. This inaccurate information has impacted my credit report.
