On XX/XX/2021 I called Navient to pay off one of two consolidated loans. Both loans are current. As per Navient 's policy, if a loan is current a borrower is able to make additional payments on the loan. After specifying that I wanted to pay the payoff amount for loan XXXX, the supervisor applied the payment to the loan specified. The payment amount was {$3300.00} for loan XXXX. However upon verifying the application of my payment, I discovered that {$1600.00} was applied to loan XXXX and that I now owe Navient {$1600.00} on loan XXXX. The lender has added .16 of interest and failed to direct my payment to the loan requested, XXXX. Navient has frustrated my efforts to pay my loan in full.
