I received a fraudulent cashiers check and the bank processed the amount of {$8900.00} after I deposited it in the Wells Fargo XXXX on XX/XX/2021. It went into my account and i was asked to pay {$3800.00} for fees by the scammer. I did so on XX/XX/2021. Later that evening the bank took the {$8900.00} out of my account flagging it as not legitimate and needed until XX/XX/2021 to verify. However by then, the payment i sent out subtracted causing my account to be out into the negative by thousands of dollars. I contacted the bank and all they told me was to file a police report and there was nothing to do to stop the transfer i sent out or cancel anything else.
