I attended the University XXXX XXXX University online fall 2020. I received a unsubsized loan and subsized loan from the Department of education. I currently have a XXXX gpa at the school. I received an email on XXXX XXXX stating I have a balance and they were sending it to a collection agency. I email XXXX XXXX back and stated that my balance is handles by loan servicer. These are not private loans are money given to me the school. The loans are already included in my educational loan debt. I even verified by accessing my national student loan data and speaking with my loan servicer. So the XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX sent my information to a collection agency anyway. Im assuming the collection agency obtained my phone number from the school the called several Times in a XXXX period I explained to one of the representatives at reliant that those arent private loans they were issued by the department of education. I the unknowingly received an email from the collection agency that I didnt even give my email to stating they send over the information I requested I didnt request any information because I can see my study account even on the statement it shows I received loans which are serviced by XXXX XXXX. The company is desperately trying to collect money that they dont have a right to collect and so is XXXX University XXXX XXXX
