My dispute is regarding a collection account showing on my credit report from Collins Asset Group , LLC in the amount of {$4400.00}, which I do not believe I owe. I have disputed this account directly with them and even hired a company to assist me with no result. They were informed that I never received an Explanation of Calculation of Deficiency and requested a copy from the original creditor showing the amount owed. They have refused to provide said letter. I will not pay until I receive proof that I in fact owed the {$4400.00} they are attempting to collect from me. Please note that this situation have negative impacted my credit and created a lot of emotional stress.
