I have had immense hardship over the years due to the fact I was a poor XXXX XXXX and had no conception of what credit was, and how important it is. As time went on my knowledge about how credit works has grown tremendously and my credit score is affecting my ability to get access to capital needed to fund a business, or buy a home. I have reached out to Capital One about my late payments on the dates of : XX/XX/2019 XX/XX/2019 XX/XX/2019 XX/XX/2019 XX/XX/2019 And explained to them my hardship in an attempt to get the payments forgiven for the months of the hardship. I had family in the hospital and I simultaneously had to go myself. It was a dark time and I have grown and achieved more stability and I believe payments from 2 years ago shouldn't still affect my credit. I commend Capital One for removing the other payments. But I want them to remove the rest of the late payments so I could then qualify for more credit with them and continue to do good business. I want them to grow with me, and aid me in my growth. If they removed these late payments it will help me tremendously. I have paid the card down to 30 % utilization and it will soon be down to 2 %. In less than 30 days my credit has gone from XXXX to XXXX, which is indication of how serious I am about improving my credit score. I really hope Capital One removes my late payment history simply due to the fact it'll never happen again.
