We will request that our information for this account be removed from the credit bureaus. '' I ask that this information be reflected immediately on my reports, thank you. Original Complaint ID : XXXX Response From XXXX : This reply is in response to your complaint we received from the CFPB. We appreciate the opportunity to respond to your concerns. We have reviewed the complaint and the related matter. As a result of our investigation we are replying with the following information : XXXX placed an account for you in our office to collect a balance of {$2000.00}, on their behalf. We sent you a validation notice on XX/XX/XXXX. This notice included your right to dispute the balance owed. To date, this complaint is the only communication we have received on behalf of this account. The credit bureaus term account open date XX/XX/XXXX, means the date when we were assigned the collection account from our client. This does not affect or falsify how long the account will remain reported to the credit bureau. The amount of time the account will be reported to the credit bureau report is determined by the original delinquency date XX/XX/XXXX, as reported to us by XXXX. In an attempt to help you find resolution, we have forwarded a copy of your complaint to XXXX. In response, XXXX has provided an explanation of the account. We have attached a copy of their explanation for your convenience. We will mail you a copy of the statements provided by XXXX. In response to your complaint, we have ceased collection attempts in our office. We will request that our information for this account be removed from the credit bureaus. Please note that XXXX considers this balance to be valid and owed. We sincerely hope this represents a satisfactory resolution to your concerns.
