On XX/XX/XXXX, I received my annual credit report ( via mail ) from Experian ( report # XXXX ). The report contained an account from XXXX XXXX which was reported on my credit report in XX/XX/XXXX, for the first time ( since XXXX ). I noticed that inaccurate and/or incomplete information had been reported. On XX/XX/XXXX, I disputed the inaccurate/incomplete information on this report. The information I disputed was ; ( 1 ) Inaccurate charge off date, causing the account to appear as being re-aged. The account was charged off, closed and sent to a collection agency in XXXX. The account was paid in XX/XX/XXXX and there can not be a charge off date after an account has been paid, ( 2 ) Inaccurate high balance amount ( discrepancy in amount reported, on billing statement and amount paid to settle account and ( 3 ) There was hardly any history reported on this account that was opened in XXXX. The results from Experian 's investigation ( report # XXXX ) were sent on XX/XX/XXXX ( online ). Experian states that the information in the account was updated but the only change I saw was, " Type '' of account. It was previously reported as a " charge card ''. Now it is being reported as " unsecured. '' The reason for this complaint is that the inaccuracies still exist even after their investigation. I have attached documentation that support my claim that the inaccurate/incomplete information I disputed is truthful and in fact still being reported on my credit report. The inaccurate/incomplete information that is still being reported is ; ( 1 ) The account was a charge card account so it should not have been changed to " unsecured, '' ( 2 ) In " Account History, '' there still is an inaccurate charge off date ( XX/XX/XXXX ). The account was paid off before this date ( see payment to XXXX XXXX ). Also, account was closed, charged off and sent to a collection agency in XXXX ( see collection agency ), ( 3 ) The report still contains an inaccurate high balance amount of " {$220.00}. '' This conflicts with the amount shown on billing statement of {$300.00} ( see billing statement ) and the amount of {$380.00} that was said I owed on collection agency letter ( see collection agency ). ( 4 ) The account was not reported on credit report ( since XXXX ) until after I paid it in XX/XX/XXXX. This account was first reported in XX/XX/XXXX with hardly any information in regards to its history and containing the inaccuracies as mentioned.
