Principal reason Im writing this complaint is to have the 30 day late removed from XXXX XXXX Equifax. XXXX credit card reported a 30 day late for the month of XX/XX/2020. This was during the pandemic and since we in NYS were under a stay at home : " On Sunday, XX/XX/XXXX, all non-essential businesses statewide closed when Governor XXXX announced the " New York State on PAUSE '' executive order. '' It made it extremely difficult to make a payment, XXXX was under seige by the cornavirus with people XXXX everywhere. Below is the order issued by Gov. XXXX. : https XXXX XXXX I tried to explain and also written a letter to XXXX regarding the situation and they would not remove the late from all the credit bureaus. This is unfair for a lender and credit bureaus to report a late during a city and state lockdown. I would like it removed as its damaging my credit score. Note : Account is currently open and in good standing.
