XXXX XXXX appears on my XXXX report. I disputed and also sent a certified letter to the XXXX XXXX address online for validation and verification of this debt that I have no knowledge of. I requested the following from XXXX XXXX and did not receive any of the documents. 1 ) Why the collector thinks you owe the debt : Ask who the original creditor is and request documentation that verifies you owe the debt, such as a copy of the original contract. 2 ) The amount and age of the debt : Ask for a copy of the last billing statement sent by the original creditor, the amount owed when the collector purchased the debt, the date of last payment and whether the debt is past the statute of limitations. 3 ) Authority to collect the debt : Ask whether this agency is licensed to collect debt in your state. When disputed online with XXXX, they said XXXX XXXX validated debt, but where is this documentation? I have seen nothing. I want this removed from my credit history, which is in the 700s.
