I dont have the initial date. I received my miles and more Barclays card and needed to spend XXXX dollars to get XXXX points. I tried to use it once activated and it was declined. They stated it was a fraudulent charge and I needed to call them. They then stated I needed to send them my Social Security card front and back, my drivers license front and back and another simple form of Id like utility bill with name and address. I refused to send in my PII with risk of ID theft. I told them to cancel the card and they wouldnt without that info. I requested a manager and they stated they could only do a manager callback. Of course when they call me I am busy and cant answer. They then give me the generic XXXX #. I did talk to a manager in XX/XX/year> and she stated after 90 or 120 days with no use it would auto close and they would refund my fee since I was never able to use the card. That has still not happened. I had called them another time and same joke with the manager callback. I want my account closed and my money refunded. I am a XXXX XXXX and would be fired if I took or asked for that info to be delivered not I no person. I had my XXXX card stolen and all XXXX did was cancel the card dispute the charges and mail me another one.
