Truist Bank was the Lien Holder on the car I financed with them for many years. I completely paid it off on XX/XX/XXXX with a payment in the amount of {$12000.00}. Afterwards, they mailed a refund check to me for the overpayment in the amount of {$1.00}. I have called them repeatedly to find out when I will receive my clean title. They answer my question with their automatic reply of it takes XXXX days and all the while I continue to keep checking with the state of Texas where my title is and they tell me to contact the lien holder. This has been going on for almost XXXX months now. Truist Bank will not give me specific answers or help in trying to locate my title. Today is XX/XX/XXXX and I checked online and paid {$10.00} to TitleCheck.us for my VIN XXXX and it does not show there has been any change to the Title since I first financed it through Truist. I would simply like to get my title from the Texas XXXX with Truist not listed as a lienholder because I paid it off on XX/XX/XXXX. I need some help please to resolve this issue because apparently Truist Bank is unwilling or incapable of providing the help that I need.
