I run a non-profit organization, and we signed up with a company called CashNet Solutions Inc. to process credit cards for us in XX/XX/year>. After a few months we determined that the fees for the service were too high based on the amount we were using it, so we cancelled the account in XXXX. CashNet Solutions Inc. said it was no problem to cancel, but they continued to charge us {$60.00} / month in XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, and only stopped the monthly fee after I sent them a dozen emails. I requested a refund for the {$180.00}, and this was their response : " I'm writing with an update on your merchant account refund request. Because the merchant account was only actively processing for XXXX month ( in XX/XX/year> ), the bank is firm on its decision not to issue any refunds. They view the account as essentially non-active, regardless of the length of time it took them to fully close and terminate it. The bank considers waiving the cancelation fees a sufficient resolution for a non-processing account. Unfortunately, at this point, there is nothing further we can do to secure a refund. ''
