Name of Company : XXXX XXXX, XXXX Debt Originator : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Account Number ( if known ) : Ending in XXXX Alleged balance : {$230.00} Summary of the Issue : I am filing a formal complaint against XXXX XXXX, XXXX for unlawful and deceptive debt collection practices in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). I have disputed a debt they are attempting to collect on behalf of XXXX XXXX, XXXX and have formally requested validation under 15 U.S.C. 1692g ( a ). I have also demanded all supporting documentation including but not limited to : The original signed agreement or contract Itemized transactional ledger Proof of assignment from XXXX to XXXX Proof of license to collect in New Jersey Evidence of proper debt validation notice ( required by law ) Any communications logs, call history, or data transmitted to credit bureaus Instead of providing the required documentation, the company responded with a summary of transactions without any legal proof of liability or ownership of the debt. No contract was provided. No chain of title. No legally sufficient validation. They are attempting to collect a debt without proof of ownership, in violation of 15 U.S.C. 1692g ( b ). They have not verified the debt, and yet continue to demand payment. I am requesting that the CFPB immediately investigate and demand that Firstsource : Cease all collection activity Remove any credit reporting if applicable Produce lawful documentation or delete the account entirely I also reserve the right to file civil claims for statutory damages under the FDCPA and FCRA. This behavior is predatory, illegal, and causes undue harm to consumers Requested Resolution : Cease all collection activity Provide full validation and legal documentation Remove any negative reporting to credit agencies Sanction or penalize the collector if noncompliant
