My adult son with the same name as I, his delinquent account from EASTERN ACCOUNT SYSTEM appeared on my credit report for XXXX Account name EASTERN ACCOUNT SYSTEM I Account number XXXX Recent balance {$380.00} as of XX/XX/XXXX Date opened XX/XX/XXXX Status Collection account. {$380.00} past due as of XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted and explained to XXXX the situation. Also explained that now my son 's address is on my credit report too. They sent me notice that it's staying on my credit report until XXXX. I contacted XXXX and explained the situation and they said nothing because there was an active dispute through XXXX. I filed another dispute with XXXX and lost that one too. I had my son, whose debt it is to call them and get it straightened out and he did. It still did not get removed from my credit report. I filed a third dispute and lost that one too. The debt is my son 's, who admits that it is his and that our credit files got comingled, yet both XXXX aka Eastern Account System and XXXX refuses to untangle our credit reports. This is me reaching out before I hire a lawyer because I did everything in my power to correct XXXX and XXXX 's error. I filed three disputes with XXXX. I called Eastern Account Systems twice to explain what they did. I had the owner of the debt ( my son ) call Eastern Account System to verify with them that he is the owner of the debt. And no one will help me.
