SUMMARY OF COMPLAINT I am requesting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to investigate and intervene in XXXX solar loans I obtained, due to extensive misrepresentation, installation defects, ongoing system failures, and permanent loss of all warranties after the XXXX filed XXXX XXXX bankruptcy shortly after installation. ISSUE XXXX MISREPRESENTATION & DECEPTIVE SALES PRACTICES The XXXX provided multiple conflicting proposals, changed system sizes, misrepresented production, and promised warranties and long-term service that they never intended to provide. The system was financed based on : XXXX workmanship warranty XXXX labor warranty Lifetime roof XXXX guarantee 25 years of free service Monitoring and technician support These promises were not true. ISSUE XXXX SYSTEM FAILED IMMEDIATELY AFTER INSTALLATION Within XXXX weeks of installation ( XX/XX/XXXX ), the system experienced : Microinverter failures Breaker trips Array shutdowns Nonproduction even on clear days Emails from XXXX XXXX show repeated attempts to get service with no success.
