Pnc Bank will not recognize their responsibility with a series of forged withdrawals. am filing a complaint regarding my bank 's refusal to reimburse a fraudulent and unauthorized check paid from my checking account. The check was not authorized by me. I did not issue it, sign it, or benefit from it, and I have never done business with the payee or vendor involved. The transaction is outside my normal account activity. The bank denied my claim solely on the basis that it was not reported within a 30-day period, without addressing whether the item was properly payable or whether the bank exercised ordinary care in paying the check.
