The loan has an 18-month no interest period, but the auto pay function does not allow one to pick an amount that fulfills the loan in that period. Also confusing is that the auto-pay amount comes off any extra payments you may make to fulfill the loan in that period. There is also a 90-day deferment on the first payment further setting one back on the road to repaying the loan within the 18 months. Seems like it sets you up to fail. Basically it sets up auto pay for 15 months that is under the amount you need to pay in order not to get hit with the entire interest.
