I went online to a credit card finder site. I was looking for a 0 % balance transfer for as long as I could. The site told me that the Wells Fargo XXXX card had that. Since Wells Fargo is my bank I signed up. When I received the card, I was looking online where I could do the balance transfer. There was nothing, so I thought I had to activate it to see. There still was nothing. I called the number that was given on the site and was told by three different people that it was no problem, they could just change the card without a bit on my credit score. Each person then said hold on, and I was hung up on. I finally got angry and called again, but asked for a manager. She told me the card no longer had that promotion, and I could not change the card without another hit on my credit score. I asked to cancel the card, and how disgruntled I was. We said she will tell the supervisors about the situation and I should get a call from them next week. I am not happy my credit score already went down XXXX points because of this, and now will probably go down even more.
